A tragic incident occurred in Saptari district where a couple died due to electrocution while charging an electric rickshaw. The incident took place at Pauwa, Ward No. 2 of Rupani Rural Municipality. Five Nepali citizens who were imprisoned in Iran for various reasons have been repatriated to Nepal. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the release was made possible after an Iranian court issued an order to free the detainees. Surkhet — A couple died after suffering an electric shock while cutting grass at Birendranagar Municipality-12, Neware. They were seriously injured and later died during treatment, according to the District Police Office, Surkhet. The deceased have been identified as 55-year-old Dhaniram Acharya and his 50-year-old wife, Dhankumari Upadhyay. The couple was cutting grass using an electric machine at their home when they received the fatal shock.
