Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has cautioned that loosening laws related to human organ transplantation could lead to misuse and unethical practices. According to a report presented by the Organization Department at the meeting of the Main Management Committee of the convention held at the party’s central office in Chyasal, approximately 2,400 delegates will attend the event. The Department of Prison Management has decided to transfer Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), who is currently in custody at Rupandehi Prison on charges related to a cooperative fraud case. According to the department’s information officer, Sandesh Prasad Joshi, Lamichhane, who had requested a prison transfer, will be moved to Nakkhu Prison today. The official letter regarding the decision has already been sent to Rupandehi Prison. “We have already issued the transfer decision and dispatched the letter today,” said Information Officer Joshi. “With necessary security arrangements, he will be brought to Nakkhu as soon as possible.”

The meeting of the Public Accounts Committee under the House of Representatives was postponed today due to a lack of quorum.
