House of Representatives Meeting Adjourned Due to Lack of Quorum

The meeting of the House of Representatives was adjourned after failing to meet the required quorum. An attempt was made to present the proposal to deliberate on the Information Technology and Cyber Security Bill, 2082, but the meeting was adjourned due to insufficient quorum. Maoist MP Gyanu Basnet, while presenting the bill for consideration, demanded a headcount, citing that the quorum was insufficient. Out of the required 69 members, only 66 were present, prompting Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire to adjourn the meeting. The next meeting has been scheduled for tomorrow at 1 PM.
