Supreme Court Halts Implementation of Iodized Salt Act 1998

The Supreme Court of Nepal has issued an interim order halting the implementation of the Iodized Salt (Production and Distribution) Act, 2055 BS (1998 AD). In the last 24 hours, 15 people, including four children, have died due to hunger and malnutrition in the war-ravaged Gaza Strip, according to health officials.
